Shylee Rydalch

Practice Manager

Shylee is the practice manager here at MPEH and has worked here for over 10 years. “At first, [when I started working] of course, it was getting to work with the animals but now it’s definitely the people. The friendships I’ve made both with coworkers and clients”. She enjoys working the reproduction side of the clinic when she’s not managing the office. “I personally like the repro side, breeding management with the mares and of course the babies! I can’t get enough of the mini horses either.”

Shylee graduated from Utah State University in 2014 with a BS in Animal Science with a bio-veterinary emphasis. She is a proud member of the Alpha Chi Omega Beta XI chapter sorority (alumni), AQHA and the PRCA. She loves barrel racing on her horse Tumbler and spending time with her husband and two kids, Dexter and Bryndle, on the rodeo road. Shylee has 4 horses: Tumbler, Earl, Hero and Bell. Her favorite treat is anything Peanut Butter and chocolate, especially muddy buddies and peanut butter bars. Her best piece of advice/life motto is “remember who you are, what you stand for and what’s most important in life”.

Paige Morgan

Paige has worked at MPEH since March of 2020. She enjoys being a technician because it allows her to experience and learn new things every day. “No two days are alike at the clinic. Every day I learn something to do or not to do.”

Paige is a graduate of Utah State University where she earned two BS one in Agricultural Communications and one in Corporate Communications. She owns 3 horses: Amigo, Jeeter and Pete, and two dogs Spot and Ranger. In her spare time, she enjoys roping, running barrels and showing horses in AQHA, APHA and versatility ranch competitions. She is a self proclaimed Dr. Pepper addict and lives by the motto, “Things don’t happen to you, they happen for you.”

Sammy Barbour

Technician

Sammy is the longest standing member of MPEH, probably because she’s married to Dr. Barbour! When asked what her favorite thing about working here was, “I love blood, guts and gross stuff. Need maggots or ticks picked? You got it! Got a nasty abscess with puss that needs relieved? I’m your gal!”  She also likes helping the horses and people to be more comfortable and live happy lives.

Sammy has a bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. She is a member of the AQHA, APHA, NRHA, NSBA, UPHC and the UQHA. She also serves on the UPHC board.

When she isn’t working she likes to read, hike, ride horses for fun and spend time with her “super cool husband” at their ranch. She has many dogs, cat and horses. “I won’t use all the space on the website to name them all, but what does the meme say? I have the amount that I have.” Her favorite treat is chocolate covered cinnamon bears.

“Work hard, stay humble, and be kind” is a motto/quote that Sammy truly lives by and embodies!
